Ghost
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
Ghost is an essay in the form of a game, based on research into the phenomena of hauntings, personal anecdotes and site visits to supposedly haunted hotels.
Ghost places the viewer within a small room, based on a room at Hot Lake Hotel in Eastern Oregon. Within this space are scattered fragments of narrative and research, forming an open exploration into what a ghost might be in relation to time, memory and architecture.
This project was supported in part by the Regional Arts and Culture Council of Portland, Oregon, and completed with thanks to Rupert, Carl Diehl and Weird Shift, Michael Welsh, Jason Lee Starin, Will Kaufman, Lisa Radon, John Glendening and Emily Tuchel.
